Hey Cavesmoker,
Good question. There are a few ways to go… and a few corners you can cut until you get some cash for nicer stuff. The essentials are going to be a screen (you can just use one and re-claim it for multiple colors), squeegee, scoop coater, basic chemical kit, something to expose the screens…i just use halogen work lamps (you can buy them at a hardware store) and a piece of glass. You can get everything for probably $200-300. You can shop around for different deals online and build a super simple exposure unit. One other thing I highly recommend is a power washer, you’ll need the high pressure spray to clean the screens… something low-end and electric works.. i bought mine for $100. Again, you could probably find a used one on ebay or craigslist.

Okay, so i’ve been a turd and haven’t uploaded anything in way too long. So to make up for it, this will be a post filled with lots of photos. I’ve got this one documented from start to finish. FEAST YOUR EYES.

Hey….how about a low quality video of a high quality print? Think about that one. Anyways, this is a quick vid of the recent round of posters for 52 Bad Dudes. Enjoy it. Savor it.
Hey ladies/fellas, here’s a quick video tour of the print palace…

Alright, I decided this design shouldn’t go to waste for my own guilty pleasures. SO, the Tuxedo t-shirt is going into production! Pre-order one in the store. That’s right… keep it classy, keep it sexy. Man.

So what do you do when you have a party to go to, you own a tuxedo jacket with tails that you bought for $10 and you still want to be cool? You wear a tuxedo t-shirt! Since most tuxedo t-shirts are traditionally horrid and even more white trash than I’d like to indulge, I decided to whip up my own. It’s a test of sorts for a new line of shirts that have been brewing in the back of my mind. You like? I like.

I’m 99.9% finished with the design for a new t-shirt print. This shirt will be a 2 color (black and white) on a red shirt. It will compliment any pale person’s pink skin (like my own). I snagged a few of my original doodles and sketches to show a slight build up of the idea.
